Description
Connecting the ground wire of the AC-site power to the metal parts of the caravan or campervan will result in galvanic corrosion. It can occur on any RV as soon as a metal part is in contact with water. The corrosion will quickly dissolve any anodes and attack the metal parts in contact with the water as soon as the caravan is connected to the AC mains.
Installing a Galvanic Isolator / Zinc Saver will maintain a good earth link with the mains, but prevent stray currents coming up the earth line and damaging the RV.
